TETE

CENTRAL MOZAMBIQUE

HUNTING AREA

Situated on the northern banks of the Cahora Bassa Lake is the Chawalo Concession in the Tete Province. The terrain consists of large mileage of banks along the lake and tributary rivers where the majority of the Crocodile and Hippo hunting takes place, as well as rolling hills with impressive Baobab trees, pockets of Miombo woodlands and bushveld. This is our primary area for Hippo and big Crocodile hunting and is home to big Leopard and Lion. Other species include Buffalo, Hyena, Elephant and a small quota of plains game species.

CAMP LIFE

Accommodations consist of 3 en-suit thatched rooms, fixed with hot and cold running water and fans for the wormer days. The central common area and fireplace overlooks the mighty Cahora Bassa lake where guests can relax during midday and in the evenings.
